In this guide

Send a customer a proper price quotation they can open on WhatsApp and accept with one tap — then turn the accepted quotation into a GST invoice at the same prices. Built for services, custom work, bulk orders and B2B deals where the price is agreed before the bill.

Make a quotation

1

Create it

Open Your site → Quotations and press New quotation. Type the customer's name, then list what you're quoting — each line has a name, an optional description (prints in small text under the item), quantity, price, GST rate and an optional discount. A Valid till date is pre-filled 7 days out; change or clear it as you like.

2

Press Send on WhatsApp — the customer gets a link to a clean page with your logo, the items, the total, and two buttons: Accept (they type their name, which is recorded with the date as their acceptance) or Decline (with an optional reason). On your own domain, the link lives on your domain.

3

Watch it move

The quotation page shows a live trail — sent, seen by the customer, accepted or declined and by whom. The list page carries three cards above the rows: Awaiting response (the value still open), Accepted (agreed but not yet invoiced, with how many are waiting to convert) and Win rate — the share of answered quotations that were accepted. Chips filter the list, and the search box finds a number or a customer.

4

Convert to an invoice

Once agreed, press Convert to invoice — a GST invoice is created at the QUOTED prices (never re-priced), numbered in your normal invoice series, ready to print or WhatsApp with a scan-to-pay UPI QR if you've set one up.

Changing a quotation

While it's a draft or sent, just Edit it. After the customer has answered (or it expired), press Revise — a new version is created with a fresh link, the old link shows “a newer version exists”, and the version number (Rev 2, Rev 3…) prints on the document. Prices are never changed silently on a link you already sent.

A quotation is not a tax invoice. It never enters your GST reports and never uses an invoice number — the document says so in print. GST shown on a quotation is an estimate; the real tax math happens on the invoice you convert it into.

Numbers & printing

Quotations get their own simple series (QTN-0001, QTN-0002…) separate from invoices. Print uses the same designer as your invoices — your chosen design, brand colour, fonts and show/hide switches (including “Prepared by”) apply automatically.
