Loan Leads, or the Loan Desk?
Both exist, and which you see depends on your website. It is worth knowing which one you are on before you go looking for a button that is not there.
If your sidebar shows Loan Desk, read Finance websites instead — it does everything on this page and a great deal more.
Where the leads come from
- They fill your formAt /apply on your website
- It lands as NewWith everything they typed and any documents
- You or a partner callMark it Contacted
- You work it to a closeOff-platform, the way you always have
The forms themselves are built in Loan Forms — one per product, with exactly the fields and document uploads you need. See Loan & insurance application forms.
Working the list
Open Loan Leads and start with New
The chips All, New and Contacted, each with its count, are your whole workflow — New means nobody has opened the lead yet. Above them, tiles show Total Leads, New, Last 7 days and Last 30 days, with Leads by Loan Type; the All Loan Types menu filters the list, and Export CSV downloads it.
Open a lead and read what they gave you
Name, phone, city, the amount they asked for, whatever else your form collected, and any documents they attached — each with its file name and a View and a Download button. Those documents are private — only you and the staff you allow can open them, and every view or download is recorded.
Opening a lead marks it Contacted — put it back if you did not call
The moment you open a lead it moves to Contacted by itself. If you only read it and have not called yet, tap Mark as New on the lead so it stays on your to-call list; Mark Contacted sets it back. The value of the list is that New genuinely means untouched.
Assign it, if more than one person works leads
Pick a staff member or a partner from the dropdown on the lead. Staff see what you allow them to see; partners see only the leads assigned to them and nothing else about your business.
Charging partners per lead
A partner is someone outside your business — a freelance agent or a connector — who works your enquiries. You can charge them for each lead you hand over, and the platform keeps the count.
| How they pay | What happens |
|---|---|
| Prepaid | They buy credits from you first. If a partner has run out, assigning a lead to them is refused and you are told how much short they are. |
| Postpaid | The charges add up and they settle with you later. |
This money never touches us. Partners pay you directly — cash, UPI, hand to hand. The + Credits button only records what they already paid you. Set the price per lead and the mode on the Team page; see Add team members.
Hand leads out by themselves. On the Team page, add each partner with the job Partner — billed per lead, then tick Auto-assign new leads to partners: every new lead goes to the partner with the fewest leads right now, skipping a prepaid partner who cannot pay for it. If nobody can take it, the lead stays unassigned for you.
Remove a partner and it stays money-safe: the leads billed to them go back into the pool and the charges reverse. A removed partner with money still owed stays visible until you settle up.
Working leads well
Do this
- Call within the hour — a loan enquiry is shopping around by tomorrow
- Put a lead back to New if you opened it but have not reached them yet
- Assign, so two people never call the same applicant
- Ask only for the documents the case genuinely needs
- Tell the applicant plainly that you are an intermediary, not the lender
Not this
- Letting New pile up as a badge you stop seeing
- Sharing applicant documents outside the people who need them
- Promising approval — that is the lender's call, not yours
- Assigning to a prepaid partner without checking their credits first
Example · A loan agent in Nashik
He had two connectors working his enquiries and no way to tell who had called whom. He set the per-lead price at ₹50, put both on prepaid, and started assigning. Duplicate calls stopped that week — and because each connector could only see their own assigned leads, he stopped worrying about his list walking out of the door.

Common questions
What is the difference between this and my Form Inbox?
The Form Inbox holds general contact-form messages. Loan Leads holds applications from your loan forms — with the documents attached, the assignment dropdown and the per-lead billing. See Contact form inbox.
Can a partner see my other leads?
Never. A partner sees only the leads assigned to them — not your other applicants, not your website settings, not your money.
Does a lead cost me anything?
On the Insurance Broker design each enquiry is on the higher-value rate — ₹25 on Free, ₹5 on Starter, ₹0 on Pro and Growth. On any other design that carries a loan form it is the ordinary enquiry rate — ₹5 on Free, ₹1 on Starter, ₹0 on Pro and Growth. Either way it comes from your Lentlo Credits, the same phone number on the same day is charged once, and your Plan page shows the exact number for your site. What you charge a partner is separate and entirely yours.
Are the uploaded documents safe?
They are stored encrypted and never sit at a guessable address. Only you and the staff you give document access to can open them — access is a permission, not a default.
Can I import my old enquiries?
Yes — bring them into your contact book with a spreadsheet import and work them from there. See Contacts & leads.
