In this guide

Notifications under Settings lists what we tell you about and where — WhatsApp, e-mail, or both — with a switch per message. Your number and e-mail come from your account. Shoppers get their order e-mails whatever you choose there; those are theirs by law.

Where

Supplier console → Settings → Notifications or Store console → Settings → Notifications. Only the owner changes the switches; the people who help you can read them.

What you are told about

The messages, by who gets them

A supplierNew order (a shopper orders on a reseller's store and you are the seller) · Cash-on-delivery order to confirm · UPI payment to confirm · Reseller waiting for approval · Stock short · Payout ready · A store's plan ended.
A resellerNew order (a shopper orders in your store) · Order sent (a parcel left, with its tracking number) · Return asked · Plan ending soon (within 7 days) · New products from your supplier.
A shopperBy e-mail only, in the store's name: the order, it is on its way, it was delivered, the return was accepted or could not be, the refund was sent. Never from our WhatsApp number, never switched off by the owner.

WhatsApp and e-mail

  • A message goes on WhatsApp only once its wording is approved by WhatsApp; until then the card says By e-mail only until the WhatsApp message is approved under it. The New order message is the first one approved.
  • When e-mail is switched off for the network, the card says so in an amber line — nothing is sent by e-mail until it is on.
  • Every alert is sent once, within a minute of the thing happening, and never again for the same order, payment or parcel.
  • An alert names the facts (the order number, the store, the amount, the shopper's name) and carries one button — “Open orders” — that lands on your console.

Your switches

Each message has a box per door. Everything starts on; untick a box to stop that message on that door, then Save. A box you cannot tick is a door that is not open for that message yet. The shopper's e-mails are not on this card — they are not yours to switch off.

Your number and e-mail

The line Sent to ••••••0301 · a…@example.com shows where alerts go. Change them in your account, not here. Without an e-mail on your account, an e-mail alert is skipped and the card says so.

Alerts never carry a price list, a reseller's margin or a shopper's address — those stay on your screens.
