In this guide

Every product in your store has a picture made for WhatsApp — the photo, the name, your price and “Order at <your store>” — and the words to go under it. Your store has one too, and a code a phone camera opens. Nothing to design: press Share, check the words, send.

Where

  • A product — Store console → Products & prices, the Share button on its row (it shows once the product has a price in your store).
  • Your store — Store console → Overview, Share my store (once your store is open and published).

The sheet

1

The picture

Picture for WhatsApp: the product's photo, its name, your price exactly as your store shows it, and “Order at …” with your store's address. When your supplier sells in your store, the picture also says Sold by your supplier, as the store does. The picture is made for the price your store shows today; when your price changes, the next Share makes a fresh one.

2

The words that go with it

The product's name, the price, Order here: with the link, and your store's name. Change them if you like — this is what your customer reads under the picture.

3

Send

  • Send — opens your phone's share sheet with the picture and the words together (on a phone that allows sharing pictures from the browser).
  • Send on WhatsApp — opens WhatsApp with the words. Add the picture from your gallery after saving it.
  • Copy the words — paste them in any chat.
  • Save the picture — to your downloads.

Your store, as a picture — and its code

Share my store makes a picture of your store with up to three of its products, and the words “See all our products and order online” with your link. Below it, Your store's code: print it on a bill or a board — a phone camera opens your store.

When there is no picture

  • “Open your store first” — a picture is made only for a store that is taking orders.
  • “This product is not in your store right now” — a product you hid, or one your supplier paused, has no picture until it is back.
  • “The picture could not be loaded” — the words still work; try again in a minute.

The same picture is what WhatsApp and other apps show when someone pastes a product's link from your store.

A Pune reseller sends her society group one product every morning: Share on the row, a line of her own under the words (“Delivered by Saturday”), Send on WhatsApp. Her store's code sits on the notice board of her building.
