Multi-GST Seller Entities

More than one GSTIN? Run them all from one store — invoices split themselves.

If your business has multiple GST registrations — different states, different firms, different schemes — register each as a seller entity and tag every product to the entity that sells it. When one order contains products from two entities, the system issues two separate, correctly numbered invoices — one per GSTIN — automatically.

How it works

What you actually do, step by step — most owners finish this from a phone.

1

Add your extra registrations

Your main GST details are the default entity. Add each additional GSTIN with its own legal name, address, and invoice prefix.

2

Tag products to entities

Assign each product to the entity that legally sells it. Untagged products stay with your default entity.

3

Sell normally

Customers see one store and one checkout — the entity split is invisible to them.

4

Invoices split automatically

An order spanning two entities produces two invoices, each with the right GSTIN, its own serial number, and its own tax calculation.

Why it matters for your business

One store, many registrations

No need to run separate websites for each firm or state registration — one catalog, one checkout, correct paperwork.

Clean books per GSTIN

Each entity keeps its own invoice series, so filing returns per registration stays straightforward.

Mixed schemes handled

A regular-scheme entity and a composition entity can sell side by side — each issues its own correct document type.

Zero setup if you don't need it

With a single GSTIN, nothing changes — invoicing works exactly as before.

What's included

The honest, complete list — limits stated where they exist.

  • Unlimited additional seller entities per site, each with its own GSTIN, legal name, address, and signature
  • Unique invoice prefix per entity, so serial numbers never collide across registrations
  • One order can carry multiple invoices — each entity's invoice covers only its own products
  • GST scheme is resolved per entity: a regular entity collects GST even when your primary registration is composition
  • Per-entity place-of-supply: CGST/SGST vs IGST is decided from each entity's state
  • GSTR exports respect the entity split, so each registration's return data stays separate

Common questions

I have one firm in Maharashtra and one in Gujarat — can both sell on one website?
Yes. Add both registrations as entities, tag each product to the right one, and every order automatically produces the correct invoice(s) with the correct GSTIN and tax split.
What does the customer see when their order spans two entities?
One normal order and one payment. The paperwork splits behind the scenes — they receive an invoice from each entity for that entity's items.
My main registration is composition but my second firm is regular — is that supported?
Yes. Each entity follows its own scheme: the composition entity issues bills of supply, the regular entity issues tax invoices with GST — on the same order if needed.
