A yard usually sells the way it always has: a buyer walks in, looks at the heap, names a number. The seller who brought the material never sees what it fetched, and the yard never knows what a second buyer would have paid.

Sellers send a request from the Sell page; you collect, weigh and grade the material and list it as a lot with the weighbridge facts; buyers you approve bid live with a countdown that extends if someone bids at the last second; the highest bid becomes an order with a payment link.
