Ordering Pause

Going to the wholesale market? Pause ordering in one tap — with an auto-resume time.

Every shop has hours when it can't fulfil — the market run, a festival, a stock day. Ordering Pause stops new orders in one tap while your website stays fully live, shows customers a clear notice, and resumes automatically at the time you set. The pause is enforced on the server, so a page someone opened before you paused can't slip an order through.

How it works

What you actually do, step by step — most owners finish this from a phone.

Pause when life happens

One switch in the dashboard — orders stop, the website stays up, browsing continues.

Tell customers when you're back

The storefront shows you're temporarily not taking orders — no silent failures, no angry calls.

Resume on schedule

Set a resume time and ordering switches itself back on — or schedule a pause in advance for a known closure.

Why it matters for your business

No orders you can't honour

Orders placed while you're away become apologies later — pausing beats refunding.

The website keeps selling your brand

Unlike 'closing' the site, a pause keeps your catalogue, story and contact fully visible.

Server-enforced

The gate is checked when an order is created — stale tabs and crafted requests can't bypass it.

What's included

The honest, complete list — limits stated where they exist.

One-tap pause and resume, from your phone
Optional scheduled start and auto-resume times
Clear customer-facing notice while paused
Enforced at order creation on the server — never display-only
Your own manual orders keep working while public ordering is paused

Common questions

Is this the same as unpublishing my website?

No — the website stays completely live for browsing and enquiries. Only order placement pauses.

What about orders already placed?

Existing orders are untouched — the pause only stops new ones while it's on.
