Live Blogs

Minute-by-minute coverage for elections, matches and budgets — updates stream in as you post them.

For the days that make a news site's reputation: election counting, the budget speech, the big match. A live blog streams your minute-by-minute updates to readers as you post them — newest on top, no refresh needed — under one growing story page.

How it works

What you actually do, step by step — most owners finish this from a phone.

Open a live blog

Start the story — 'Budget 2027 LIVE' — and it behaves like an article that grows.

Post updates as they happen

Short timestamped entries stream onto the page for every reader watching, without them refreshing.

Close it into the record

When it's over, the live blog stands as the complete timeline of the day.

Why it matters for your business

Own the big days

Big-event traffic goes to whoever covers it live. A live blog keeps readers on YOUR page for hours, not minutes.

Built for the reporter's pace

Entries are quick to post from a phone — the format is the speed.
